Opened July 2009 by the Arkalakis Family in this peaceful location is Studios Yiorgos. Set under the cliff of the old Venetian fortress in the Gavdiotika area of Paleochora it is accessed on the old town road behind our Haris Studios.

This modern building is double glazed and decorated with light fresh touches for your comfort; in addition the lift will help with heavy luggage or to return you to your room after a day walking through the Samaria Gorge.

There are 5 studios (that is1room with everything) and 2 family apartments (kitchen separate to the bedroom), all have spacious balconies equipped with table, chairs and sun umbrella. Inside you’ll find flat screen tv, wi-fi, a/c, hair dryer, toilet with shower (ground floor studio has a bath with shower over), each unit has a dining area and small kitchen – 2 ring hotplate and refrigerator.

There’s a garden, roof terrace, small swimming pool, washing machines (for hire) and easy access to The Water’s Edge Café – open all day, and of course we can offer room service and/or service from the café to the pool area.

Accommodation

The accommodation at Studios Yiorgos comprises of:

…3 x twin bed, spacious studios, each with a large sunny sea facing balcony, No11 (ground floor) has a bath with shower and less sea view as it overlooks the pool. All have a sofa which converts to a comfortable full size single bed. These studios are to the right of the picture, one on each of the 3 floors.

…2 x double bed studios, 1 on middle floor and 1 on the top floor, each with sunny sea facing balcony.

…2 x family apartments, 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the middle floor each with 2 balconies – 1 sunny, south facing at the side of the building and 1 cool and shaded at the back. There is a separate kitchen with dining for up to 6 persons and a sofa which converts to a single or double bed, one bathroom with shower. The bedroom has a double bed and a small annexed bedroom off with bunk beds and partition doors separating it from the main bedroom.

All bed linen and towels are provided, as are blankets and quilts for the cooler times of year. During summer season rooms are cleaned daily except for Sundays.

A baby bed can be provided, best to let us know in advance.
